For the first time in months, I have a finished object!
This is the market bag from the June 2019 Little Box of Crochet! With this box, we now receive a larger project every other month rather than a small project every month. I have enjoyed this change, because we are getting meatier projects.
I have to give a shoutout to the wonderful team at Little Box of Crochet. This box was due to be shipped right on top of my move. I sent them an email asking if they could hold my box until after my move, which they happily obliged.
Let’s see what’s inside, shall we?
I’ve enjoyed the goodies in this box, especially the notebook and the little travel case.
This project worked up pretty quickly, and the pattern was fairly easy. Towards the end, I started messing up with the stitch count. I was past the point of caring and just wanted to finish the project, so I just stopped counting stitches. OOPS. But no regrets.
All finished! I didn’t add the tassels or pom poms, because I’m not really a pom pom person. As much as I enjoyed this project, I have to say that the colors are a bit outside of my comfort zone. I enjoy more neutrals with pops of color here and there. As pretty as the bag is, it’s not really my personal style. Fortunately, one of my friends loved it so I’ll be sending it her way here soon!
It feels good to complete a project! Here’s hoping it won’t be another two months before I make another FO post.
